Problems installing Plexis POS in Windows Vista: Boot Vista in SAFE MODE first then install Plexis POS. Re-Boot Vista in normal mode and run Plexis POS as usual. |

Problems with Office 2007: Office 2007 may case problems with the Windows Registry entries for the SQL drivers supplied in Plexis POS. If Plexis POS does not run or encounters massive failures when running you must make manual registry corrections to overcome the issue. Once the registry is edited Plexis POS should run properly. If you are not familiar with Windows Registry editing refer to a quailified Windows expert for assistance. Modify the windows registry as follows: Step 1: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Borland\Database Engine\Settings\DRIVERS\DBASE\INIT Add 2 new "String Values" called "DLL32" and "DLL", leave the values blank on both of these. |

Please follow these instructions to correct the problem on Windows XP Operating Systems only: Download, Run or Open this file and launch the SysFiles program: sysfiles.exe Reboot your computer, and then launch the software installer to complete the installation.
