UPDATE / UPGRADE FUNCTIONALITY CHANGES

Unless you understand these changes that may impact the operating requirements of your business.

The following is a list of changes in the way Plexis POS operates in the 2.9 release compared
to the older releases. Changes were made to enhance, streamline and improve the performance of
Plexis POS. Please refer to the current POS User Guide for details on these changes.


* Releases after: 05/20/2010
Yes-Telcom Caller ID Hardware is no longer supported and has
been replaced with products from http://www.callerid.com
If you are using Yes-Telcom Caller ID products you will need to replace the hardware upon updating.

* Releases after: 03/10/2010
PcCharge users must upgrade to VeriFone's version 5.9.1
Older versions of PcCharge are not compatible with Plexis POS

* Releases after: 09/01/2008
PSC Falcon Data Terminal Support has been removed.
Support for UniComp Credit Card Procssing has been permanently removed.
Pin Pads are no longer supported due to the removal of UniComp.
Touch Screen Menus will need to be setup again due to a major design change in the data structures.
All Touch Screens and Monitors will need to operate at 1024x768 Pixels (800x600 is no longer supported).

Update / Upgrade Policy:
1. If your existing Plexis Software version is more than one year old you may need to purchase an upgrade license.
2. Contact us by eMail to verify your license status prior to installing an update or upgrade.
3. Updates are provided as a courtesy service to Plexis customers, install and use at your own risk.
4. Updating or Upgrading does not include any free technical support.
5. Backup your system prior to installing any updates or upgrades.
6. Perform updates and upgrades during our normal business hours in case of difficulty.
