UPDATE / UPGRADE FUNCTIONALITY CHANGES

The following is a list of changes in the way Plexis POS operates since the 2.8.8.x initial release.
These changes were made to enhance, streamline and improve the performance of Plexis POS.
Please refer to the POS User Guide for details on these changes.

* UniComp Credit Processing
Removed and replaced with pc/Charge Payment Server.

* Stored Credit Cards
Credit Cards can no longer be stored on system for future use.

* Auto-Weigh Control
Moved to Product Type Selection. Requires editing of all weight based inventory items in order to trigger the weight or scale dialog.

* KDS and Remote Printer Names
Moved to Inventory Item Record. Requires editing of all inventory items that will print to a kitchen printer or display on a KDS Monitor.

* Case / Pack Control
Requires reconfiguration of all Case / Pack Inventory Items in order to accomodate new functionality.

* No Print option in the Inventory Item Record
No longer prints on Receipt, Remote or KDS if enabled.

* Disable Qty Combining in the Inventory Item Record
Modifiers are now included using this feature if enabled. If the Anchor item is manually increased the modifiers must also be manually increased.

Credit Cards:
* Full Credit Card numbers are no longer printed on any receipt.
Expriation Dates are no longer printed on any receipt.

Update / Upgrade Policy:
1. Updates are provided as a courtesy service to all registered Plexis POS customers.
2. Purchased Updates or Free Upgrades do not include any free technical support.
3. If your existing Plexis POS version is more than one year old you may need to purchase an upgrade license key.
4. Backup your system prior to installing any updates or upgrades.
5. Make sure you perform updates during our normal business hours in case of difficulty.
6. Contact the Sales Department to verify your purchase status prior to installing an update or upgrade.
7. If the system requests a new license key use the "Register Your Software" link at the bottom of this page.
8. Voice requests for new license keys are not accepted unless you have pre-purchased support time from us.
